BIOMECHANICAL CHECK
Footstep studies are in fashion these days. But, what are they about precisely? and what are they for?
Has it ever happened to you being very motivated at starting practicing some type of sport (either amateur or professionally)and in a short time had to give it up because you have been injured or because it is impossible for you to follow?
Have you ever wondered why from time to time you stay “blocked” again and the visits to the physiotherapist are more frequent?

Well, if any of this has ever happened to you, the cause may be some alteration at a muscle, articulation or tendon level related to biomechanics, that is, to the way in which your body moves.
CUSTOMIZED AND TAILOR-MADE INSOLES
How many times have you seen on TV, ads for sore or tired feet insoles to do sport, to stand the heels or to deal with the working hours?
Has it ever happened to you, or how many people you know, who have had their insoles made in a pharmacy, bought them in a sports shop or in a shoe store and with no way to wear them because they were uncomfortable or simply because there was no difference between wearing them or not?
Well, we will tell you why in most cases they do not work.
SURGERY
We are all afraid of that word, but just as we understand that appendicitis cannot be cured by applying some “lotion”, we have to understand that there are problems in our feet that cannot be solved this way either.
A foot deformity or a foot disease such as a bunion, a claw toe, an incarnate nail or Morton’s neuroma (which limit or cancel the possibility of walking), putting properly on the shoes, working or sleeping without being in pain, practicing the type of sport that we like, going for a walk, having dinner or chatting with friends and relatives, may turn out to be activities that will make our lives miserable.
The foot surgery is not more than another resource that we have in order to find a permanent solution to these problems.
